Spell force 3 is really good and the devs put lots of fan work and energy in this game. Especially after the updates itās a very solid RTS and spell force game. Itās well received in the RTS community and has many fans. I can recommend it especially to grab it on a sale. Tons of content for low money.

So SF 3 also has less vareity than SF 1 and 2. Spellforce 3 could have used far more creep types eg.werewolves,shadows,minotatur,beastmen etc. just from SF 1 or 2. SH also recieved some complains about dark elves being so much different from SF 1 and SF 2 and they might also not be lore friendly.
