One of the biggest issues with 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign, and there are quite a few, is its lack of originality. Though 2011's MW3 was criticized at the time for not really The campaign is actually pretty good, but not as good as MW 2019. Our favorite characters from the original are back but portrayed in a cheesy, b-movie way that tries too hard to be badass. Other that, the story is actually really mature and try’s to be more “realistic” than over the top. Though, it can be polarizing. The main issue I have are bugs and crashes. Sometimes I can’t play a match. Far from perfect (border map is terrible, no hardcore, no stats, no rank), but enjoyable, the core is solid. Campaign is good but short. Multiplayer when you can play is gold. Spec ops are ok but easy. Could be better but certainly I prefer this to Vanguard or Cold War. Though some may disagree, offering early access to a game's campaign could be seen as a win-win for both the developer and the player, and the success of Modern Warfare 2 's early launch could I really want to like the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, but it’s a travesty.
