I'm going to see an 'S' Type 2.7D SE Auto with 117000mls 7 x Jag and 2 X inde services. Its been on the bay at a set price of £3995 but now its on a NO RESERVE sale. hi, I have recently bought a 2007 S type jaguar 2.7 diesel and have an intermitant burning smell in the cabin, it only lasts a short while and only noticed when sitting at traffic lights etc then just goes away. Should i continue to use the vehcle. regards BS
The Vacuum pump is fitted to the rear of the engine. You are quite correct the seal/grommet is a permanent part of the construction of the very expensive brake booster servo. A secondhand vacuum tube can be got from SMG Wolverhampton for about £25 to £30 and this includes in its construction.
oG7zK7j. Old Peter. The 2.7 Diesel V6 has two EGR Valves one each side of the V6 engine. Apparently is is a mucky job, and I have had the code P0402 crop up a few times, I nave used a Wynns Spray into the air intake. Just take out the air filter and with the engine running when warm at 1200 rpm spray in the whole can.
